About the Artist
Hello everyone,
I’ve been painting cats for about 30 years now. I paint from my home studio, usually surrounded by my seven cats — all of whom appear somewhere in these paintings. They wander in, sit on things they shouldn’t, and somehow always end up part of the work.
I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember, but this series came from wanting to capture the small, familiar moments that make life feel full. The quiet, the mischief, the stillness between movements. I paint in acrylic — its vibrant, light settle in, and character find its way through. These pieces aren’t about perfection. They’re about personality, and the warmth that lives in ordinary days.
Each one is its own small story — made slowly, with care, in the
company of far too many paws.
